Major General Koba Kobaladze, Director of the State Service of Veteran Affairs, together with Andriy Kasyanov, Acting Ambassador of Ukraine and Major General Sergey Kravchuk, Military Attaché of Ukraine, laid wreaths at the memorial of the heroes fighting for freedom of Georgia and Ukraine in the Heros Park who fought for freedom of Georgia and Ukraine at Lisi Lake and honored their memory. Koba Kobaladze offers his condolences to the families of the soldiers who died in the war.
“Today, our presence is another proof that we will honor all those people who fight for freedom, who fight for the independence, protect homeland from the aggressor and from the enemy. We are used to it. We have been fighting and shedding blood since the day of gaining independence. Thanks God, a lot of heroes are born in this country. I offer my condolences to their families, first of all, to their homeland. The number of boys who were taken from Ukraine is quite large, and the state has a strong position to bury them with military honors and dignity. This is a tragedy for us while it might be a statistic for someone”, said Koba Kobaladze.
