Major General Koba Kobaladze, Director of the State Service of Veteran Affairs, hosted Jonny Shubitidze, Director of “RMG Gold” LLC, and Kakhaber Mchedlishvili, Commercial Director.
According to the State Service of Veteran Affairs, the meeting was aimed to deliver photomontage equipment worthing several thousand GEL by “RMG Gold” to the Service within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation.
According to the same source, the memorandum of cooperation between the State Service of Veteran Affairs and “RMG Gol” LLC was signed on January 16, 2023. The aim of the memorandum of cooperation was to take corporate social responsibility and promote creation of legal and socio-economic basis for ensuring appropriate living conditions and well-being for the veterans of war and defense forces and their family members, the families of those who died for the territorial integrity, freedom and independence of Georgia, those who went missing, those who died due to the injuries received during the war.
It has been mentioned that the parties also discussed the future plans.
“We are always ready to support our veterans. This cooperation, of course, will continue, and our company’s support to the State Service of Veteran Affairs and veterans will take on a larger scale”- Jonny Shubitidze stated.
Koba Kobaladze thanked the guests and “RMG Gold” as a whole for their support to the veterans and presented mementos of the service. The meeting was also attended by the first deputy director of the State Service of Veterans’ Affairs, Nikoloz Kvezereli, deputies Miron Chigogidze and Jandri Ubiria, director’s advisor, Vladimir Imnadze.
According to them, more than 100 veterans of war and defense forces are currently employed in “RMG Gold”.
